Health Guarantee
Here at Lara's Little Hedgies, I do my best to produce the highest quality animals possible. I promise that to the best of my knowledge all animals I sell are without any known health problems. All hedgehogs are guaranteed to be free of any congenital health problems for six months from the time of purchase. If something is to happen to your hedgehog within the first six months of you owning your pet, I will replace your pet free of charge if I am given a necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian saying that the problem was present at, or dating from birth.
When purchasing a pet, there is always a risk of stress related illnesses, given that many changes are being made in the animal's environment. If you think there is something wrong with your pet, I encourage you to give me a call at (***) ***-****. I may advise that you should seek advice from a veterinarian that is familiar with hedgehogs. It is crucial to make sure your hedgehog is eating, drinking, and is in a warm environment. Keeping your hedgehog on the same diet that I use for at least one month will help to minimize stress.
Refunds, Exchanges, and Returns
Purchasing a pet is an important decision, and it should not be taken lightly. I strongly encourage you to look into the nature of hedgehogs before purchase. I want you to be entirely satisfied with your new hedgehog, and I will make every effort to make sure you are comfortable with the handling of your hedgehog. I will also try my best to make sure you are well instructed in proper care. Hedgehogs are a pet that call for extensive time, attention, and patience in order for them to become secure with you, and you with them. The temperament of your hedgehog is shaped in part by the personality of the animal, personality of the handlers, environment, and the amount and type of bonding time spent with your hedgehog. Because of this, there is no possible way I can guarantee the temperament or personality of a hedgehog once it leaves my care, so consequently, I do not offer refunds or exchanges on hedgehogs.
If at any point in your hedgehogs's life you find yourself unable to care for your hedgehog, I will accept that animal back into my care. I will not offer any financial compensation for that animal or service.
